Last Friday night began a weekend of wedding fun for Erin & Chris. We'd all been eagerly awaiting January 10th and here we were, having dinner as a newly-formed family the night of January 9th. Since Erin & Chris decided to have a small wedding at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, there wasn't a whole lot of "rehearsing" to do beforehand. As a result, Mom & Dad hosted a pre-wedding dinner at their house on Friday night. Having an intimate family dinner with Erin & Chris gave the in-laws a chance to get to know each other. With Chris's family being true-blue New Yorkers and our family having been in Texas for over sixteen years, it was truly two different worlds coming together. And though so different, we were able to share a lot of laughs, stories, and create some new memories together.

AAAGH! Keep me in suspense already, why don't you. As the only non-facebooker on the planet I am the last human being in Texas to not see the wedding pics yet. Hurry up and post Part II! (By the way, y'all both look great.)
